She is producer/publisher of Return the Great Forest: A Conservation Vision for the Southern Appalachian Region, an award winning journalist and fiction writer/author, a certified Guerrilla Marketing coach, and a skilled coach, facilitator and mediator.  

Currently working toward a masters in counseling psychology, Belanger utilizes psychological insights and social science research to inform strategies for social, personal, and organizational change. She has applied her skills to organizational restructuring and turnarounds, conflict resolution and dispute mediation, staff and board vision quests, individual and team coaching, and psychology-informed environmental and social justice campaign strategy.
